The famous cognac house Rémy Martin invites you to discover the world’s best cocktail bars with a collection of charming and relevant notebooks, the first of which takes us to London.

This first ” One Night In London ” notebook is an application already available free of charge on ipad and iphone. The app is an extension of Rémy Martin’s nomadic ambition to discover the great capitals of the night. On your phones, get set, download!

A few days ago, we boarded the Eurostar to discover these magnificent addresses.

This is our route:

We start our journey at the Great Northern Hotel, a magnificent, newly refurbished Orient Express-inspired hotel just across the road from Kingcross, which will be our base for this London night.

After this first cocktail, our bus is waiting to take us to the Connaught Bar.
An institution among institutions, the Connaught is one of London’s finest bars, decorated with care in a landmark Palace. The den of Augustino Perrone, the world’s best bartender in 2010, offers us Fleurissimo on a base of Remy Martin VSOP Mature Cask Finish, a few house bitters, violet liqueur, sugar and champagne. Finesse and refinement are the order of the day!

We return to Bam Bou’s Red Bar, hidden like a speaker on the third floor of an old London house transformed into a temple to Asian culinary delights, the den of Ladislaw Pillar, who offers us a cocktail with a dreamy title: Forbidden Garden. Composed of Remy Martin VSOP Mature Cask finish with Naopleon mandarin liqueur, lemon juice, sugar bitters and basil leaves. Sublime!

In a completely different ambience, it’s at THE LAB that we taste DES’s creation: Bitter Sweet Truth. This hip and popular Soho bar/restaurant is alive with good-natured fun every night. For the Remy Martin VSOP Mature Cask Finish cocktail, fig liqueur, Campari, lemon and a little champagne. Ambiance!

Our last stop is London’s most luxurious and trendy venue, home to traders and pretty girls. Antonio Simonetti’s Novikov is undoubtedly the place to be seen. His barman offers us the Touzac Crusta, made with Remy Martin VSOP Mature Cask Finish, sale, lemon juice, grapefruit and other secret ingredients. So chic!

The Artesian is also one of London’s finest bars, with a magnificent decor.

I’ll see you in London to try out all these places!
