The French house of rock chic clothing, founded in 1997 by Thierry Gillier, accelerates its international development with the opening of a new concept store in the heart of Manhattan in the Soho district, Broome Street 453 – New York City.

Covering an area of 500 m2, this new concept-store skilfully blends design in all its forms: men’s and women’s collections, leather goods, shoes, sneakers, accessories, perfumes and works of art…

This new location brings the number of sales outlets in the United States to 43. Ambitions are clear: to double sales in the United States to $100 million by 2020. The expansion of points of sale is accompanied by a rapid rise in digital sales. Indeed, on September 7, the French fashion house launched a brand-new version of its US e-commerce site: “The contribution of digital to global sales volume today represents more than 10%, and this should rise to 20% in the next three to five years. This strategy is just the first step in our 3-year investment plan, which aims to increase our global sales volume to 500 million euros,” announces Jean-Jacques Guével, the group’s Managing Director.
Chris Tate, Managing Director of Zadig&Voltaire in the United States, adds: “This is a very beautiful address, Soho is a real reference in the American market. More than 10 years ago, Thierry Gillier himself opened the first Zadig&Voltaire boutique in Los Angeles. A true artist who has established his modern style and contemporary vision of French fashion. Today, Zadig&Voltaire in the United States has 43 directly-operated points of sale, a presence in over two hundred multi-brand boutiques, and numerous projects in Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco.
