Yesterday, Caroline Néron presented her brand new corner at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann.
For a month and a half, the former actress and singer-turned-jewelry designer put her creations to the test in Paris. Sure of her success in Quebec, Caroline Néron, who had already tried to establish herself in Europe, returns to France more confident, first and foremost.
She offers a line of “high-end costume jewelry”, in a price range from 45 to 300 euros. The materials used are mainly Swarovski crystal (with whom Caroline Néron collaborates) and semi-precious stones.
After starting out creating jewelry “in her kitchen”, as she explains, it was through hard work that she managed to open several boutiques and now employ 200 people. Caroline Néron is the creator herself, but she has also surrounded herself with a team of designers who advise and guide her.
His inspiration? Women. She wants to bring out this femininity with Swarovski crystal, but also by creating many long necklaces that flatter all body types. During the design process, all jewels are worn to get an idea of how they will fall and look. Necklaces are often adjustable in length, and bracelets feature an ingenious system that keeps the decoration in place on the top of the wrist.
A men’s line has been in place for three years, and a leather goods line is planned for next autumn. If all goes well, we’ll be hearing a lot more about Caroline Néron in the months to come!
