This week, Luxsure was invited to discover Repetto’s Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 collection. The famous ballerina manufacturer chooses a related theme each season; this time, China and the Peking Opera were the inspirations. The brand’s signature model, the Cendrillon ballerina, is thus adorned with Chinese silks, fringed trimmings or a Chinese porcelain print; fresh colors that will add color to a more sober outfit. Alongside this, we find more classic leathers, which can be iridescent, patent or natural. For this autumn, Repetto has dared to propose bright colors, with mint green, orange or fuchsia to beat the gloom.
Another highlight of the collection is heels, which are becoming increasingly popular. The boots, ankle boots and pumps are extremely light and easy to wear!
Since 2010, Repetto has been offering a made-to-measure workshop for those wishing to have personalized shoes made. Customizable models include the Cendrillon, the Zizi for men and women, the Michael, the Camille and the Tito. Simply visit the boutique on Rue de la Paix or at Printemps Haussmann (this service is also available in Toulouse and Cannes, as well as internationally), where you’ll be advised on the choice of leathers available; the soles can be printed with your name, and the shoes are made in the Repetto workshop in the Dordogne within three weeks.
