Founded in 1989 by Henrik and Charlotte Jorst, a couple originally from Copenhagen, Skagen Denmark takes its name from the small seaside village at the northernmost tip of Denmark, where the Baltic Sea meets the North Sea.
Originally dedicated to watches, last year Skagen Denmark developed a jewelry line for women, and this autumn will launch a complete range of leather goods for men and women.
As a nod to serenity and the “hygge” concept, this first leather goods collection is an expression of simplicity and functionality, values dear to the Danes.
