October 2017 saw the birth of SONA, the clitoral stimulator with revolutionary SENSONIC technology. This October, it’s this signature LELO technology that we’re celebrating, through an entire range of products that have changed the lives of some women.
This year, the Center for Neuropsychological Evaluation and Rehabilitation (CERNEP) at the University of Almeria in Spain, in cooperation with LELO, carried out the first scientific study on the continuous use of clitoral massagers, based on reference points and measurements taken after two months’ use. The study was carried out in a general population, with subjective measurements of sexual response in 100 women and ultrasound scans (anatomical and vascular) in 89 volunteer participants.
The study came to some fascinating conclusions, such as:
– Over 40% of participants reported using the accessory with their partner, indicating that a significant proportion of the sample has normalized the use of sex accessories, sharing them openly with their partners rather than limiting their use to private masturbation.
– The most common (over 70%) and preferred (around 50%) method of achieving orgasm among the women studied was simultaneous clitoral stimulation and vaginal penetration, clearly demonstrating the importance of clitoral stimulation in female sexuality and a break with the taboos of yesteryear.
– For 50% of women, the SONA 2 Cruise device became their favorite accessory following their participation, and 65% found the experience with the device better than expected.
– Data from women who demonstrated the minimum frequency of use of the accessory (around 2-3 times a week) showed a significant increase in genital sensations, sexual satisfaction (both personal and with a partner), sexual arousal, lubrication and orgasm after using the SONA 2 Cruise.
Asked about their experience, the participants shared: “Using it made me feel a level of excitement and orgasm I’d never experienced before. Every time I used it, I felt intense sensations”. For some, it was “a different sensation, and with the massage and vibration combined, it’s as if the body reacts on its own”, and led them to have more than one orgasm!
