BURBERRY OPENS ITS FIRST POP-UP IN THE HEART OF NAMMOS VILLAGE, MYKONOS

Burberry has opened its first temporary boutique in the Nammos Village area of Mykonos.

Reflecting the spirit of the flagship store at 121 Regent Street, London, the Nammos Village boutique features a palette of white with touches of pistachio. The interior is furnished in a variety of materials and textures, including wood, mirrors and varnished finishes. On the first floor, an entire wall is dedicated to the visitor’s imagination.

Open until October, the boutique offers the collections of Riccardo Tisci, the brand’s Creative Director, including Kingdom, the spring-summer 2019 collection for men and women, which is a nod to Riccardo Tisci’s return to London after studying at Central Saint Martins 18 years ago. The focus is on English creativity and tradition, from the punk movement to more formal, refined tailoring.

The boutique is also home to the House’s new Monogram collection, which was launched last week with a campaign featuring Gigi Hadid. The collection pays tribute to Burberry’s founder and the brand’s heritage with a new graphic code – the intertwined initials TB in beige and brown, a logo seen on ready-to-wear and accessories.
