Acne Studios launches a limited edition of its small leather goods collection, in collaboration with artist Jack Pierson.
This collaboration marks the launch of the second generation of the small leather goods collection.
One hundred sleeves were engraved, featuring five different works from the book “Caught in the Rain Broken in the Stardust”, published by Jack Pierson in 1994 at the time of his exhibition at Regen Projects gallery in Los Angeles.
Acne Studios has also re-issued 100 editions of Jack Pierson’s original “Caught in the Rain Broken in the Stardust” exhibition catalog, each signed by the artist himself and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
A copy of this second edition is included with the purchase of a sleeve.
Jack Pierson is an American artist who likes to work in many different ways, from sculpture to prose, photography to video. His work is mainly exhibited at major institutions such as MoMA, LACMA and the Withney.
In addition to this collaboration, Acne Studios is launching new small leather goods in its winter collection, including wallets, purses, key rings and clutches in a range of sizes. Silver zippers add a graphic touch to the collection.
Colors come in classic variants such as black leather, cognac leather with olive green finishes, or in brighter, contrasting colors.
This range of leather goods is accompanied by a personalization service, using a custom-made alphabet by Jack Pierson, characterized by a mix of contrasting fonts and sizes.
