Avenue Montaigne is the road to luxury, home to some of the world’s most prestigious brands, concentrating the very best in ready-to-wear, leather goods, jewelry and haute couture, as well as wine. Make no mistake, there are no vines growing along the cobblestones of Avenue Montaigne, but it’s the soft shades of green and gold of the grape that the Avenue appears every two years now. Organized by the Comité Montaigne since 1989, this Parisian grape harvest is an opportunity for the major luxury houses to link up with French gastronomy: everything that makes up French quality, everything that is the envy of the entire planet.

Luxury à la Française is not confined to the world of ready-to-wear. The Comité Montaigne is dedicated to celebrating its diversity. A bottle of wine must be the result of fine workmanship, crafted with as much care as a Dior suit.

The Comité Montaigne aims to be the benevolent guardian of French exceptionalism, and to facilitate exceptional encounters between the players in the luxury goods industry working to promote French renown. For this year’s event, the Maison Montaigne will be setting up new decorations and exclusive events, where leading names in the world of couture, including Chanel, Dior, Versace and Louis Vuitton, will be offering tastings of Champagnes from Ruinart, Moët et Chandon, Laurent Perrier, Pommery and the finest vintages from Châteaux de Tertes, Giscours and Domaine Cloudy-Bay.

So, if you’d like to take part in the best of French luxury, through an original event where the greatest houses meet in the heart of a mythical street, see you on September 10, 2015, avenue Montaigne from 7pm. You won’t need your baskets and pruning shears for this harvest, though… When harvest rhymes with refinement.
