The news was announced this week that Fendi will be teaming up with designer Thierry Lasry for a capsule collection of women’s eyewear. The collection will be entirely designed by Thierry Lasry in close collaboration with the Safilo group, which produces and distributes Fendi eyewear. The chic, creative world of Fendi associates Thierry Lasry, who is collaborating with a major luxury house for the first time.
In just a few years, Thierry Lasry has established himself as the pope of vintage-inspired luxury eyewear with a touch of the avant-garde. His creations can be seen on the noses of some of the world’s biggest stars, from Rihanna and Madonna to Eva Mendez and Lady Gaga. Thierry Lasry has succeeded in imposing a style that has become an identifiable signature, without any apparent logo. His sunglasses are entirely handmade in France and sold in the finest retail outlets worldwide.
The House of Fendi, renowned for its elegance, expertise, innovation and style, is not working with Karl Lagerfeld for the first time. Fendi is and always will be synonymous with tradition, experimentation and creativity, and proves it again today with this latest collaboration.
