Hardy’s latest decanter is the work of Lalique crystal. A nod to the world of perfume. Hardy is unlike any other Cognac house, and confirms this with its latest creation, the Printemps decanter. Lalique crystal has created a genuine perfume bottle for Hardy. The silhouette is feminine, and the spectacular almond-green sculpted stopper is reminiscent of some of René Lalique’s creations from the early 20th century. The Printemps decanter is the first in a series of four exceptional decanters, all signed Lalique. Summer”, “Autumn” and “Winter” decanters will follow every two years. Their colors and motifs are kept secret.

The decanter is positioned at the center of a precious round box combining white and pastel leather, with an ingenious front-opening system. Once again, sophistication and originality are the order of the day.

HARDY: CREATORS OF HIGH-COUTURE COGNACS
Hardy was founded in 1863 by Anthony Hardy, a gentleman of British origin. A wine and spirits professional living in London before settling in Charente, he worked as a broker and distiller in the region. Fallen under the spell of this corner of France, he changed his first name from Anthony to Antoine and adopted the rooster logo that can be seen today on the decanters and the house. This rooster has become the emblem and symbol of the brand. Today, Bénédicte Hardy continues to carry on the family tradition and heritage. The Hardy imprint is still there. The company, resolutely focused on top-of-the-range products, has expanded its collection of decanters and continues, 150 years after its creation, to win prizes and awards for the quality of its cognacs.

LALIQUE: A MAGICAL UNIVERSE BETWEEN AUDACE AND TRADITION
For over a century, Lalique has combined tradition and modernity, unfolding its magical universe with refinement and passion. Each piece pays tribute to the creative genius of René Lalique, founder of the company, jeweler-poet of Art Nouveau, then brilliant glassmaker of Art Deco. Thanks to a bold combination of material and craftsmanship, crystal comes to life and becomes expressive: transparent or satin-finish, it plays with light and shadow, offering multiple possibilities of nuance and relief. All our creations, made exclusively by hand by master glassmakers in our workshops in Wingen-sur-Moder, Alsace, reflect the perfection of the crystal-maker’s craft. Vases, bowls, glasses and decanters, animal motifs, decorative pieces, bottles and jewelry: Lalique is the art of crystal.

AUDACITY, ALWAYS AUDACITY. Hardy, whose motto is “haute couture for cognac”, continues a long tradition of daring creations. For over thirty years, an impressive collection of decanters by Daum and Baccarat has been on display. Although some of these decanters are no longer on sale, they are now part of the history of cognac.

The collaboration with Lalique ushers in a new era. Both Hardy and Lalique are houses of tradition and savoir-faire, born in the middle of the 19th century,” explains Silvio Denz, Chairman and CEO of Lalique. For both our houses, exception is very important. It made sense to create products together.”
