We met Lucia Ariotti, creator of the jewelry brand IO&ES, in her showroom at 33 place du Marché Saint-honoré, not far from the famous Place Vendôme. Lucia Ariotti is an Italian adopted by Paris, with a passion for comics and drawing from an early age, little knowing that one day she would put her pencil strokes and creativity to work in jewelry. Trained by the best, she created her own brand, IO&ES, in 2008. But why IO&ES? Lucia explains it to us Freudian “io” representing the reflection on the “ego” and the “id”, “es” in Italian echoing the work of Freud who explains that each of us is divided between the io and the es.
