Comme des Garçons is one of the biggest names in Paris fashion week, and rightly so. With ever more incredible collections, as if in an overbidding of magnificence and technique, it’s the men’s collections, inspired by streetwear and using codes we’ve seen more in women’s fashion, but in a style that remains virile, that the house regales us with.
Starting with Comme Des Garçons Black. A rather dark line, where black and navy blue blend together. The technique on the shirts is incredible, making them virtually unisex. You’ll also find gray and fluorescent prints.
GanRyu is a new line launched in 2007, taking up the codes of streetwear but not without adding a dose of fantasy and technique. There’s a real evolution in the collection.
The Pocket collection is a collection of tee shirts and perfumes. Permanent editions include tone-on-tone black tee shirts. Comme des garçons has also embarked on a collaboration with Cote&Ciel for polyurethane bags and wallets handmade in Italy, reminiscent of childhood with their “Stars” prints strongly resembling gommettes.
