For 10 years, the Frimousses de Créateurs operation has been the symbol of an exceptional alliance between fashion, art and humanitarian commitment. Every year, fashion houses, jewelers, artists and designers offer all their talent to the bénéfice of the children of Darfur. Because UNICEF and all its partners believe in a better future, the pretty Frimousses will celebrate their anniversary under the theme “Yes Futur”!

This tenth anniversary is an opportunity for big names such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Chantal Thomass, Chloé and Jean-Paul Gaultier to reinforce their fidélité, and for new designers such as Roure, the French jeweller, and the famous Franco-Venezuelan painter, Carlos Cruz-Diez, to join in this action of solidarity.
In an avant-garde atmosphere, these “works of art” dolls will be on display at the Petit Palais from November 27 to December 2, 2012. Set against a magical backdrop designed by Valeria Attinelli and accompanied by a bespoke sound universe created by sound designers Arnaud Clemente-Jacques and Olivier Perrot, the dolls invite visitors to immerse themselves in dreams and the future.
On December 3, 2012, fashion enthusiasts, art collectors and generous donors will come together at the auction hosted by Artcurial Briest-Poulain-F.Tajan.

For the first time in 10 years, the sale will take place in the exceptional setting of the Petit Palais. Visitors will be able to admire the masterly creations and bid for one of these forward-looking Frimousses.
In 10 years of mobilization, Frimousses de Créateurs has helped UNICEF raise €1,527,480 to finance large-scale child immunization campaigns. Over 250 designers have created a total of 771 dolls over the decade. The Frimousses anniversary is an opportunity to beat a new record and give a future to the children of Darfur.
