Key pieces from the Burberry Prorsum Women’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection are now on sale at Burberry.com as of February 9, 2010.
The collection “Twisted Classics”, which had signed the great return of the brand at London Fashion Week, reinvents the iconic element of the brand: the trench coat. It is presented in a more modern version, shorter, worn with a belt. This collection also focuses on the skirt that Christopher Bailey imagines short, as a whole part of this collection and offers a new declination of the tartan so famous through a palette of light and soft colors.
The drape, the main work of this wardrobe, is imposed on the shoulders, skirts, bodices, creating volume and structure, accentuating the elegance of a cut here and playing with materials there.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of London Fashion Week, Burberry Prorsum, Burberry’s high-end collection, invited a few stars, including its muse Emma Watson and Gwyneth Paltrow, who all wore a piece from the collection presented at the show.
And to celebrate the launch of the online sale, the famous golden sequin dress worn by Emma Watson, is available exclusively online in limited edition at the price of 3195€ on the following link for France : http://www.burberry.fr/fcp/content/Prorsum_Exclusive/content. The platform sandals with twisted bands worn by the actress are also offered in limited edition on the site at a price of 650€.
