Because there’s more to life than AirPods, we’ve put together a selection of in-ear headphones for everyday use and/or sport. We’ve ranked them from cheapest to most expensive.
With the exception of the sports range, all our earphones have the same format: a case for storing and recharging your earphones. They’re all small enough to slip into your trouser pocket, so you can take them out at any time on public transport or in the street.

Recommendations before buying in-ear headphones
It’s worth pointing out one important thing: we don’t all have the same ears and, more importantly, ear canals. So don’t be surprised if the left and right ear tips you use are different sizes – we don’t have perfect symmetry. And don’t be surprised if you can’t fit or support all the products below in your ears. Each one has a different shape or design that you’ll appreciate more or less. If you have the chance, try them out before you buy. All the products presented below are iOS/Android compatible and connect via Bluetooth to your devices (mobile, tablet, PC…). Each product generally uses the same system: a button on the earpiece that gives you various commands, which you’ll need to learn to get the most out of your earphones.
Hypure One (€59.90)

These in-ear headphones are based on the well-known AirPods design. They have an 18h battery life. They come with 3 pairs of different-sized eartips and a USB-C cable. As the most affordable product in our range, you’ll have to make a few concessions. You won’t get a button to activate the voice assistant. These headphones are aimed above all at people who want to have a pair of headphones that are accessible at all times. However, the absence of a voice assistant does not prevent the Hypure One from being equipped with a microphone for making calls. For every device purchased, a tree is planted.
We liked: the surprising bass power of the least expensive product in our selection. Electro music lovers, you’re in for a pleasant surprise!
Google Pixel Buds A-Series (€99)

As the name suggests, these in-ear headphones are a production of technology giant Google. The brand claims up to a day’s autonomy, thanks to the charging case. The packaging is very simple and includes a USB-C cable and a set of 3 pairs of ear tips to adapt to your ears. These headphones feature touch control to answer calls, manage your music (pause, play, next track…). They are sweat- and water-resistant (IPX4). Google Assistant is integrated, enabling you to use voice commands.
An app is available to help you configure the headphones in greater depth.
We liked : the ease with which the product can be installed and recognized on an Android (non-Pixel) smartphone, its design with a small tab for easy attachment to the ear, bass quality and voice control.
Airy Sports by Teufel (99.99€)

The only product in this selection to have been entirely designed with sport in mind, it clearly stands out from the rest of the range. Thanks to its hooks, it will hold firmly to your ears during your intensive sports activities. It features aptX and AAC codecs for CD-quality music from streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music…). Autonomy is rated at 25 hours. There’s voice control (Google Assistant, Siri). 3 sizes of ear tips are available. A small carrying case containing the micro-USB cable is also included in the box.
We liked: powerful bass, good fit on the ear, voice control
Airy True Wireless by Teufel (119.99€)

Another product with a similar design to the AirPods and Hypure One, the Airy True Wireless from German brand Teufel has an exceptional battery life of 25 hours. If need be, after 15 minutes of recharging, you’ll be able to use the product for another hour. Thanks to its IPX5 standard, the product is weatherproof. A button on the in-ear headphones lets you make use of voice assistants (Siri/Google Assistant). Its AAC technology lets you enjoy CD-quality sound. Included in the box are 3 pairs of ear-tips and 1 micro-USB cable (not USB-C).
We liked: easy pairing, good overall balance, bass when playing music that’s full of it, voice assistant.
Cambridge Audio Melomania 1+ (129.95€)

These in-ear headphones are probably the most surprising because of their slender design, but this in no way detracts from their listening quality. The London-based brand claims stratospheric autonomy of 36 hours. As with the Yamaha models I’ve mentioned below, aptX and AAC are used to deliver the best possible sound quality. Thanks to the Melomania app, you can optimize the settings to your liking. The box contains a VERY rich assortment of earmolds (10 pairs) to suit every morphology. Like many other products, it is IPX5 (water-resistant) and features Google Assistant/Siri voice control.
We liked: the ability to use voice control, its highly original format, its autonomy, its comprehensive app that lets you adjust settings to suit the music you’re listening to, giving a top performance every time.
Yamaha TW-E3A (129.99€)

The legendary audio specialist couldn’t ignore the phenomenon of in-ear headphones. This product features 4 pairs of ear-tips and 2 pairs of sleeves, which are placed in front of the ear-tips. A USB-C cable is also included. Like most of the other earphones mentioned above, it is IPX5 water-resistant. It too features voice assistant (Google Assistant/Siri).
The Yamaha TW-E3A offers a solution for listening comfort. The sound is balanced even at low volume, thanks to the YPAO volume control developed by Yamaha.
On the codec side, we find the crème de la crème with Qualcomm aptX technology.
We liked: design in perfect harmony with the shape of our ears, sound balance, rendering quality, voice control.
Jabra Evolve 65t (€259)

The most premium product in this selection, the Jabra Evolve 65t are the most beautifully designed in-ear headphones I’ve ever seen. The design also serves to provide highly effective passive noise reduction. The pack includes 4 sizes of ear tips, as well as a small carrying pouch and a micro-usb cable (it’s a shame it’s not USB-C at this price). To enhance the hearing experience, you can set your listening via the Jabra app and adapt your levels according to musical genres. In terms of battery life, you’ll be able to enjoy 15 hours of use. The Jabra 65t can connect to two devices at the same time, and thanks to a small USB key, the Bluetooth link between your PC and the headphones is fast and fluid. Voice assistants are included (Google Assistant, Siri, Amazon Alexa). To avoid danger on the street, the hear through function lets you hear the sounds around you.
We liked : passive noise reduction, the Jabra app with its rich level programming, voice control, hear-through function, earphone design, good sound balance.
