This Spring Summer collection takes us on a road trip.
Inspired by iconic films such as Thelma et Louise and Las Vegas Parano, artistic director Valentin Glémarec wanted to capture the energy of a journey: freedom, excitement and unforeseen consequences.
For the first time without presenting a show, he decided to unveil the collection on a 2,000 km road trip across the United States, meeting fellow travelers who would become the models wearing the collection in the heat of the West Coast desert.
The collection translates this journey with straight-edged suit-sleeve jackets, as if ripped off in an unexpected altercation, or a hand-painted camouflage print on a lightweight cotton parka or jogging pants – a dressing designed for expedition and adventure.
Street wear is also underlined by Muses prints, always worked in oil on canvas. They can be either classic with a twist like the Veiled Pearl Girl or the Activist Venus, or completely avant-garde like an Alien also painted in oil on canvas like the classic muses.
The idea of recycling and the environment is also a theme present in different parts of the collection. First with the original “Galaxy Waste” print designed by Valentin: an all-over trompe-l’oeil that looks floral from afar but is in fact a succession of debris. The leather perfecto collaboration with Schott also relates to this, with unique hand-painted pieces.
This season’s collaboration with Christian Louboutin sees their iconic sneaker, rangers and Chelsea boots revisited with metallic details and reflective work.
We’re also delighted to showcase young talent through accessories, with designer Kevin Auger’s work on hats and caps.
This season is also an opportunity for the brand to present its vision of the Icosae woman through 4 looks mixing femininity, street wear and tailoring.
