Seiko Prospex: Two Limited Editions Featuring Seiko Blue Accents
To celebrate its 145th anniversary, Seiko is expanding the Prospex collection with two new limited editions featuring blue accents. These models pay homage to Seiko Blue, the signature color that first appeared in the 1960s—a period of major innovations for the brand.
The first model is inspired by the 1965 Seiko diver’s watch, the first Japanese diver’s watch. Powered by the 6R55 caliber, this Prospex Heritage Diver boasts a water resistance of 300 meters and a power reserve of 72 hours. Its silvery-white dial is accented by touches of blue on the aluminum bezel insert and the seconds hand.
The second model, reference HBB001, features a more sculpted silhouette. Its 41.7-mm stainless steel case, angular lugs, and two-tone aluminum bezel—silver for the first 15 minutes and then blue—give it a more graphic look.
The HBB001 is powered by the 4R35 automatic movement, with a 41-hour power reserve. It is water-resistant to 200 meters (Diver’s), features a Hardlex crystal, a screw-down crown, and LumiBrite on the hands and hour markers, and will be limited to 9,999 pieces at a suggested retail price of 650 euros.
Both editions will be available starting in June 2026 at Seiko boutiques and authorized retailers.
