Aman is now accepting reservations for Amanvari, which is scheduled to open on August 1, 2026. Located on the east coast of Baja California, Mexico, in the private community of Costa Palmas, the resort is situated where the desert landscape meets the Sea of Cortez.

The property will feature 18 Casitas as well as a limited number of Aman residences. Its name, which combines the Sanskrit words for “peace” and “water,” sets the tone: Amanvari is intended to be an architecture of contemplation, in dialogue with the ocean, the desert, and the estuary.

Designed by Studio Elastic, with an initial contribution from Heah & Co., the project is set within a unique landscape featuring Cardon cacti, Blue Hesper, Red Copal, endemic birds, and panoramic views of the Sierra de la Laguna. The resort also promises a culinary experience centered on local and seasonal ingredients, with Aman’s signature Italian and Japanese influences.

The activities extend this immersive experience: a beach perfect for swimming, the Aman Spa, a golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, a private marina, a yacht club, organic farms, excursions in the Sierra de la Laguna, private boat trips on the Sea of Cortez, and exploration of the Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park.
