Les Benjamins spring-summer 2017 collection: Saharan immersion with a nomadic, urban influence

Les Benjamins, a high-end sportswear brand with a fun, contemporary reputation, inscribes nomadic style with a vision tinged with surrealism andurbanity, for this spring-summer 2017 collection.

The collection is immersed in a graphic universe of vivid colors, where texture, curves and lines cross the African desert and meet the Tuaregs, the nomadic people of the central Sahara.

The Les Benjamins wardrobe remains true to its sportswear character, with effortless shapes that evolve and elevate with each piece, creating a silhouette with an athletic dominance.

We start with very simple,single-color outfits that gradually become more daring, creating a more explosive mix with pretty, highly structured jackets: sleeveless chocolate perfecto, blouson, sleeveless denim jacket…

Designer Bunyamin Aydin nods to the Alasho uniforms, whose turban is a particularly vibrant blue, by setting this color as the reference color for some of his looks.

There are shades mixed with beautiful deep blacks and purples, andsandy tones ofthe legendary Sahara Desert.

This collection is an invitation to immersion, to culture, to the discovery of another lifestyle, and attempts to recreate the authentic world of the tribes: the clothes are adorned with brushstrokes to recreate traditional body painting ceremonies, and the zebra and leopard animal prints bring out the wild side.

Tone-on-tone outfits evoke a striking sense of urban camouflage thanks to authentic streetwear staples.
