Attached to a habitual wardrobe, Louis Vuitton’s 2015 Cruise collection, presented in Monaco on May 17, takes side roads in a constant desire for timelessness.
Clothing is transformed into a second skin with an unexpected character. The wardrobe manipulates genres with original superimpositions and controlled dissonance. Colors are bold, prints raw and original.
Contradictions paradoxically respond to each other, blurring the codes of classic fashion. This “parasite” of uncontrolled effects creates a silhouette that’s fluid, light, dreamy, casual and wildly elegant.
The gesture is generous, sharp and masterful, while the dense, wispy material breathes a luxurious bohemian allure.
