In love, as in war, there are weapons we use to achieve our ends that are more formidable than others…
Perfume reflects a state of mind, is the extension of a personality, and sometimes signs the memory of a person. In the art of seduction, perfume is of course extremely effective, especially when it awakens memories.

L’art de la guerre is a conquering fragrance from a masculine territory, that of fougère. The same fern that awakens in us the memory of the very first fragrance to thrill us, sometimes by stealing the scent of one of its elders. A woman who makes a fern her own carries the memory of a past conquest, as well as the nostalgia of comfort snuggled up in her father’s arms, or just in conscience, as if to challenge those around her with enticing, slightly provocative scents. A man wears it through this same exercise in memory, here nostalgic, there as a conqueror, virile and self-assured.

Vanina Muracciole is responsible for revisiting this classic fragrance. She’s Corsican, facetious, sparkling and yet precise. She knew right away what she wanted: “a scrubby fougère” with a rhubarb opening. A fresh, biting fragrance, spicy and smoky.
