An institution in trendy Marrakech, bo & zin has been delighting Moroccans and tourists alike for 10 years. Visit of the place.
Along the Ourika road, an ochre enclosure and a small square “bo et zin” sign. We enter and are greeted by two charming hostesses who seat you in the room, on the terrace or in the garden. A large tent stands in one corner. The place is quite large. A DJ is in charge of the playlist and behind the bar, a young man with long hair is busy making cocktails.
Jean-Yves Rivalland, the customer manager, is an insatiable character who talks passionately about his restaurant and Marrakech. Le bô & zin is a cosy space where you feel at home. Often, places with a tasteful decor are disappointing on the plate. Well, here it’s beautiful and good!
The restaurant offers Moroccan cuisine with a Thai accent. It’s a great success. The cooking is just right, the flavors powerful. The cellar boasts a fine selection of Moroccan wines, including “Terre blanche”, a round, well-balanced white wine.
The place also has a festive dimension. It’s not uncommon for diners to start dancing towards the end of the meal.
In short, bo et zin is a great address in glamorous Marrakech.
