Gucci Timepieces and Jewelry has incorporated the bee, one of the House’s latest motifs, into its G-Timeless watch collection. This bee makes its debut in a more eclectic and poetic state of mind. It was first unveiled at Gucci’s Spring-Summer 2016 fashion shows. On this occasion, models paraded with the latest G-Timeless Abeille watches.
The G-Timeless collection has always been a versatile backdrop for Gucci’s many signatures. Design is the essence of the Gucci Montres assortment, and its enduring appeal lies in the countless ways in which the watch can be reinvented. Moreover, the bee reveals a highly aesthetic symmetry that lends itself ideally to astonishing creative possibilities. The collection unveils unique embroidered dials: made with gold thread, bee embroidery reveals a modern motif with a very seductive unisex style.
These new variants all measure 38 mm. They feature Gucci’s green-red-green striped band, worked into a colorful weave overlaid with the gold-tone embroidered bee. This atypical embroidered dial underscores Gucci’s ability to use innovative materials and lends a warm note to the model. The harmonious tones of green, red and gold on the dial are enhanced by a gold PVD case and the iconic intertwined Gs on the crown. The watch is adorned with a calfskin strap ÿ Cuoio Toscano Ÿ, available in red, green or light brown. Each model comes with a cuff-style leather strap and an additional straight strap, both easily interchangeable. The bee motif is engraved on the caseback.
