Thirty pieces for the fourth Tod’s collection by designer Alessandra Facchinetti, inspired this season by the Memphis art movement and the world of sport. The wardrobe essentials are there. Presented in 18th-century salons, the silhouette is elegant and clean, highlighting Italian savoir-faire. An urban wardrobe, with skirts decorated with geometric motifs, graphic knits and perforated leather. Leather, a veritable common thread, is worn as a total look, or in small touches hemming garments like a stitch. A white shirt in supple, lace-like skin is worn with straight pants in midnight-blue suede or a powder-beige trench coat in smooth leather. Zipper details are featured on dresses, tops and short jackets. A shearling coat printed with graphic elements closes the collection. Moccasins with notched soles and bags complete the silhouette of this accessories label, which is now making its mark in the ready-to-wear world.
