For its new Spring 2015 Make-up collection, Giorgio Armani draws inspiration from the silks and embroideries of India (it makes us want to travel!). The program features intense colors articulated around Fuchsia Maharajah. The Armani woman’s mouth is adorned with an Indian pink available in different effects: for a glossy finish, use Flash Lacquer; for a strong color, the classic Rouge d’Armani; and for well-moisturized, pampered lips, Rouge Ecstasy (my personal favorite, it’s really the ideal “down jacket” lipstick for winter: it colors the mouth in a discreet, natural way and is incredibly soft – the most comfortable lipstick to wear in the world!)
As for nail polish, Giorgio Armani surprises us with 2 shades of Fuchsia Maharajah, which looks dark when you look at the bottle, but once on the nail, the result is quite light, transparent, very pretty and the texture being very liquid you can really modulate the color rendering according to the intensity you like to wear.
Varnish rendering (shade 512) after 3 coats for an intense color result.
(Note that it’s preferable to use a “light and diffusing” iridescent pearlescent base before applying the varnish, but even without using the base here, the result is top-notch).
