My weight loss with Libre Forme 8

Today I want to introduce you to the Libre Forme 8 institute because it’s thanks to them that I’m going to lose weight and look great in my wedding dress!

What is Libre forme 8?

Libre forme 8 is above all a personalized method that will enable you to lose localized weight by eating a balanced diet.

Created in 1996, the Libre Forme 8 Paris institute offers fully customized menus (each menu is therefore unique). The principle behind the Libre Forme 8 method is simple: eat healthy, seasonal products on a regular basis (no diet products here, for example), and optimize digestion. These are the two elements that contribute to slimming. There’s no mention of calories or points at Libre forme 8.

Fabienne Théodoloz, food biochemist and co-founder of Institut Libre Forme 8 in Paris (who is currently following me) explains:
“The Libre Forme 8 method is based on several simple concepts. Firstly, we respect the digestion time of the food bowls. We also try to trigger the right digestive juices in the body at the right time. To achieve this, we look for the right combination of certain foods in a single intake. This ensures better digestion and assimilation of food, while avoiding fat storage.
We also aim to respect the body’s basic acid balance.”

My follow-up at Libre forme 8 :

I go to the Paris institute (3 rue Tronchet, métro Madeleine) and Fabienne takes care of me. Smiling and very warm, Fabienne taught me lots of “little tricks” during our first meeting, such as that in the evening, instead of drinking a glass of champagne or white wine, I should drink red wine with protein (it’s easier to digest). That I should give up sparkling water, because even if it doesn’t make you fat, it’s hard to get a flat stomach. Use lots of herbs in your dishes (basil, parsley, etc.) because, in addition to giving them flavor, plants have a very interesting soothing effect when you start a diet.
Fabienne is a real goldmine, and I think I could spend hours asking her all sorts of questions about food.
During my first interview with Fabienne, I was measured all over (and yes, sometimes the weight on the scale doesn’t change, but the body does become slimmer).
I have a weekly follow-up with Fabienne and that’s really great because it keeps me on track.

What’s more, there’s a hotline available at all times to answer any questions customers may have. I’ve already phoned several times to find out if I could change one of the foods on my menu for another. It’s great, you never feel alone when you’re dieting, and for me that’s the great strength of Libre forme 8: constant support not only during the diet but also afterwards (because the aim is, of course, to keep the weight off).

I’ve been following the program for almost a week now and I’m down to -1.5 kilos (bearing in mind that I went to a restaurant one evening and didn’t stick to one of the meals on my menu). So I’m delighted with the results and confident for the future. I’m talking about Libre forme 8 for slimming purposes, but of course you can also go there for other reasons (if you’re pregnant, if you do a lot of sport, if you have digestive problems, etc.).
