To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Poiray has revisited its timeless Tresse collection, adding a long sautoir, a rush bracelet and new earrings.

Tresse, this emblematic model with its fleshy shapes, born in 1975 like the jewelry House, embodies Poiray elegance with spirit. It was the first line, along with the Cœur collection, to be launched at the creation of the House, and remains one of Poiray’s signature themes, celebrating its anniversary and eternal youth.

Timeless and essential, it draws on the brand’s highly personal references and codes to tell its story, in which fashion and couture occupy a privileged place. Inspired by the work and audacious image of couturier Paul Poiret, to whom it owes its name and its taste for Art Deco style, Poiray, the young and seductive Maison de Joaillerie-Horlogerie, has been shaking up established codes ever since its creation.

Her audacity and Parisian chic impose a more couture style on her creations, without distancing her from the spirit of jewelry and the Place Vendôme. Drawing on Paul Poiret’s freedom of tone, she reinterprets the volume of the oriental turbans so dear to the couturier, revisiting his interwoven fabric drapes to transform them into braided jewelry. Her fresh, playful use of color, gemstones and diamonds highlights the voluptuous shapes of her harmoniously knotted braids. Now an iconic motif for Poiray, the intertwined links of the braids form delicate interlaces that dress fingers, wrists or ears in a movement as fluid as it is ravishing.

True to its sensual, feminine style, the House continues to develop, reworking pieces that have not aged a day and offering a collection of over 60 models.

Rings with braided gold volumes come in three sizes, all gold or highlighted with diamonds for a richer version.

They mix colors with virtuosity, blending white gold, yellow gold and rose gold, then become gourmand and exuberant when dressed in a fire of Tutti Frutti-style colors.

Sapphires answer each other in a cameo of blues and yellows, or mingle with amethysts and tsavorites in a multicolored farandole.

Always inventive, Poiray’s braids slip into the composition of necklaces and sautoirs, are worn as bracelets or transformed into earrings. Their shape flattens and transforms into two intertwined gold ellipses, adorning sautoirs with six delicate motifs.

For purists sensitive to Poiray’s precious casualness, the braided gold ring can also be worn on the wrist on a simple silk cord.

Poiray’s Tresse collection defies time and fashion, illuminating a collection full of charm with its voluptuous forms and grace.
