Costa Navarino, a destination committed to sustainable development in the Greek region of Messinia in the southwest of the Peloponnese, has created Navarino Icons, a range of culinary products and objets d’art inspired by the history and culture of Messinia and the Peloponnese.

With Navarino Icons, Costa Navarino aims to familiarize its customers with the region’s heritage, through authentic products made in small quantities by local producers. Strict quality standards are adhered to at every stage of production. Navarino Icons reflects local ancestral traditions and is in line with Costa Navarino’s philosophy of promoting this unspoilt, protected but easily accessible region of Greece, which is characterized by its natural beauty and a heritage rich in 4,500 years of history.

The Navarino Icons range is available in delicatessens around the world, including Harrods and Marks & Spencer in the UK, Dean&DeLuca in the USA, Julius Meinl am Graben in Vienna, CitySUper in Hong Kong, Wynn and Wynn Encore in Las Vegas, and other delicatessens in Greece and abroad, as well as Navarino Dunes in Costa Navarino. Navarino Icons plans to extend its distribution to other high-end boutiques and delicatessens worldwide.

Navarino Icons culinary products are made using recipes handed down from generation to generation, honoring the region’s gastronomic heritage. From extra-virgin olive oil to sesame cereal bars and traditional candied fruit, all products are made by rigorously selected local producers.

The Navarino Icons range includes extra-virgin olive oil, Kalamata olives, homemade fruit jams, extra-virgin olive oil and orange cookies, wildflower honey, rosemary and thyme vinegar, rosemary-flavored salt, regional candied fruits, roasted red peppers, mini green peppers and roasted eggplant concasse. All these culinary products reveal the natural riches of the region, which has always been an integral part of Messinia’s culture and economy.

The rich cultural heritage of the Peloponnese is also represented through a range of art objects including puzzles, 3D models in kraft paper, ceramic dice and figurines.
