Easter is the most important Russian holiday in the Orthodox Christian calendar. It’s a time for families to keep traditions alive and gather around great food. Gaiety, rejoicing and feasting intermingle on this particularly festive day.

The day before, each house traditionally prepares cakes known as Koulitchs. Painting eggs is also an essential ritual during this period. They are usually painted red or in very similar shades. This has been the symbol of Christian Easter since the 12th century.
Le Café Pouchkine is inspired by the tastes and colors of Russian Easter to create its Œuf Hermitage and immerse you in this enchanting universe.

This year, the Café Pushkin is offering the Hermitage Egg, covered in gilding reminiscent of the famous Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg.

It will feature delicious truffles, praline eggs and small chocolate chips.

On sale from March 21 only on weekends and every day from April 11.
