François Perret, pastry chef at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris, is creating a surprise this Easter with his latest creation: the “toy egg”.

This flowery, spicy egg, with its multicolored rings and high cocoa content, will delight dark chocolate lovers. François Perret’s passion for working with chocolate, and his constant quest for new harmonies of taste and sight, plunges us into the world of childhood.


Stacking, building and deconstructing, young and old alike will be amazed by this creation that will take you back to childhood!

“L’œuf Jouet”, weighing 350 grams, is topped with fritures. It’s made of Carupano 70% dark chocolate and will be available as a limited edition takeaway from April 13 to 21, 2014.
