From Friday January 24 to Monday January 27, 2014, Porte de Versailles in Paris will play host to the international jewelry trade show. This new edition of Bijorhca will bring together 480 brands from 30 different countries. Foreign exhibitors will feature prominently, accounting for 50% of the show’s stands.

The exhibition center will feature three offerings. On the one hand, precious jewelry (silver, gold, vermeil…). On the other, costume jewelry. Finally, the “elements” that make up jewelry, such as pearls, chains and clasps, will have a dedicated space.

This show, a benchmark in the jewelry world, is an opportunity to discover new designers and trends. It increases the visibility and notoriety of brands on the international scene. Exhibitors are selected for the originality of their concepts and the quality of their products.

For example, I’d like to introduce you to two “coup de cœur” exhibitors:

– K.DYAK, a French brand with a talent for diverting objects, is featuring lace in its new collection.

– For the show, Italian designer Manuela Zanvettori presents her “Air” range, combining Murano glass, gold leaf and silver.

Three exclusive exhibitions will be presented, creating a real fashion universe. The Dominique Desanti exhibition “mes vanités”, the Fifi la Ferraille exhibition celebrating its 15th anniversary. And the “Tasteful Jewellery” exhibition by Célina Gram, who creates jewelry from food products.

The July 2013 edition saw a 6% drop in attendance compared to 2012. Despite this, Richard Martin, deputy director and artistic director of the show, expects nearly 13,000 visitors for its January 2014 edition.

In addition, Bijorhca is taking over the Galeries Lafayette windows from January to February 2014. An opportunity for the general public to discover the Bijorhca Spring-Summer collection, as well as 6 favorite brands from the show. Another edition of the show will be organized for those who can’t make it to the January edition, from September 6 to 8, 2014.
