At Barrière, the festive season is reinvented every year for unforgettable moments of indulgence. This year, for the first time, the Christmas log is by Pierre Gagnaire, and will be available in all Fouquet’s restaurants.

A gourmet log inspired by the napkin ring that symbolizes the famous Fouquet’s Paris brasserie.

Pierre Gagnaire, three-starred chef and recently voted Best Chef in the World by his peers, presents for the first time his creation log. An exceptional log in a very limited edition (350 pieces) in the colors of the famous Parisian brasserie, underlining his passion for the French art of living.
An authentic, timeless log, which with Pierre Gagnaire takes on a truly modern touch. A dessert par excellence that the Chef wanted to be “tasty, elegant and accessible to palates young and old”.

The softness of the traditional rolled cake, combined with a creamy almond sponge and Vietnamese pepper syrup, will subtly awaken your taste buds. The delicate combination of orange-lemon-ginger marmalade, topped with mascarpone cream, will magnify this log with fruity, gourmet flights of fancy.
An elegant red velvet and silver powder finish will sublimate this delicate dessert and give it a new sparkle.

This year, Pierre Gagnaire’s exclusive Fouquet’s log will be featured on the menus of all 6 Fouquet’s restaurants (Courchevel, Paris, La Baule, Cannes, Toulouse, Enghien-les-Bains).
It will also be possible to reserve the log at these same establishments throughout the festive period. A log of 8/10 portions for 65€.
