Bobbi BrownRecently, the Bobbi Brown boutique at 10 rue de Sèvres opened its doors to preview the wonders of the new Spring Summer 2014 collection. Bobbi Brown is first and foremost a great make-up artist who made a remarkable debut in New York. In 1991, she launched her lipstick line under the name Bobbi Brown Essentials, and its success led to its acquisition by the Estée Lauder. Since then, Bobbi Brown has been doing make-up for all the top runway shows and beautifying cover models for major magazines. In short, I’m in love with Bobbi Brown.

Nudes around a strong color: coral. Here’s what the new collection has to offer Nudes In Bloom.

A quick look at the new Bobbi Brown spring summer 2014 products:

For this summer, Bobbi Brown has decided to develop a range of bold sticks – like Clinique’s Chubby Stick – which can be used in a variety of ways: for lips, but also as a blush. I swatched them all on my hand to see how creamy and highly pigmented they are. Ingenious, isn’t it?

Also for our pretty lips, a line of glosses in neutral colors, delicately plumping the mouth for a babydoll effect. There are two pretty pinks, one darker than the other with a hint of old pink, and an iridescent beige with fine glitter.

Once again this year,
Katie Holmes
lends her face to the Bobbi Brown brand in the role of muse.

The new Bobbi Brown collection also includes a CC cream, fundamentally different from the BB cream. And it has to be said that lately it’s been stealing the show, promising to even out your complexion without coloring your skin as BB cream would. At Bobbi Brown, they’ve got it all covered: even the sun protection factor (35)!

We also have a new version of the famous Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks (one of the house’s best-sellers), a creamy coral-colored blush that revives the complexion and gives a punchy edge to the total nude look.

There’s also this pretty pink and black palette of six soft, nude shades for a natural, luminous look.

And a new version of the famous
Shimmer Brick Compact
for a fresh, delicately glossy complexion.

And how do you complete a collection that verges on perfection without a matching range of nail polishes? Soft, pretty pinks and pearly colors.
