In 2003, the alchemy of their meeting at a haute couture house gave birth to their own collection under the Margareth & Moi label. A couture spirit of refinement and perfection.
Margareth & Moi creates a collection of wedding gowns for Cymbeline. 6 models take up the codes of the talented design duo with a couture spirit of elegance and refinement. Together, they have imagined structured gowns in precious fabrics, inspired by the vision of a majestic bride in the grand tradition of French weddings. Each model evokes a universe of singular resonance.
An off-the-shoulder dress, adorned with a Thai silk stole tied at the back, reinvents Watteau’s fêtes galantes. A second creation, austere and solemn, draws on Spanish inspiration, reminiscent of Balenciaga. A model in ottoman draws a more futile silhouette, in the spirit of the 18th century, and seems to conjure up Audrey Hepburn’s mutinous smile in Sabrina. White silk smocking adds a touch of masculine feminine modernity. A buttoned, wrap-around stole barely reveals a décolleté in Fortuny chiffon.
Margareth & Moi for Cymbeline signs a first collection of wedding dresses with a very Parisian chic. This collaboration heralds the beginning of a long and beautiful story.
Currently distributed in Europe, Japan, the United States and the Emirates. Margareth & Moi also caters to a private clientele in Paris and abroad, for whom Victoria and Gildas create made-to-measure evening gowns.
