Dinner at the White House

Perched on the roof of the Théâtre des Champs Elysées at 15 avenue Montaigne, the Maison Blanche overlooks Paris, offering a breathtaking view of the
Eiffel Tower, the Invalides and the Seine. It’s a view that makes you forget yourself. We recommend going there for those sublime sunsets over the Eiffel Tower.

Chef Hervé Nepple, under the guidance of the Pourcel brothers, offers exquisite and surprising cuisine, the fruit of his many inspirations. The menu follows the rhythm of the seasons. This forty-something native of Isère and Parisian by adoption has worked in some of the great Parisian restaurants: Pierre Gagnaire, Guy Savoy and Plaza Athénée. Hervé Nepple has also contributed to numerous openings such as Toi
and Pershing Hall. Passionate about local and Mediterranean produce, his cuisine is faithful to the philosophy of
frères Pourcel. Hervé Nepple combines talent, rigor and charisma to lead the kitchens of the Maison Blanche.

Our taste buds were delighted by this well-balanced dinner, where seasonal produce was highlighted and the balance of flavors was always just right.

The atmosphere of the restaurant changes with the day and night, whether it’s a business lunch, a romantic rendezvous or a party.
General Manager since 2002, Bruno Franck ensures that excellence and refinement remain the watchwords of his day.

La Maison Blanche’s originality is immediately apparent in its incredible construction. Designed by the Espace agency at the request of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations in 1991, the restaurant’s structure simply sits on the roof of the Théâtre des Champs Elysées, a jewel of 20th-century French architecture. The building, designed by Auguste Perret and inaugurated in 1913, is a listed historic monument.
Inside the restaurant, a sleek, elegant decor by Imaad Rahmouni, a former collaborator of Philippe Starck, takes on different atmospheres depending on the time and place.

Downstairs, a vertiginous room offers a breathtaking view through the huge bay window, and since May 2011 has opened onto a very couture
terrace, all in white. Upstairs, a mezzanine reveals another terrace surrounded by greenery, as well as a bar.
At the White House, we like to sit down at lunchtime to talk business in a chic, gourmet setting. For more than twenty years,
has been meeting politicians, stars and business leaders, and it’s easy to imagine the contracts and alliances that have been sealed in this legendary setting. At dusk, the restaurant takes on a completely different, more intimate atmosphere. Friends enjoy a drink in the phosphorescent “White Bar” or on the terrace, while lovers dine quietly, the city lights twinkling at their feet.
