In the warm atmosphere of the former home of Prince Roland Bonaparte, in the heart of Paris’s 16th arrondissement, the Shangri-La Hotel, Paris offers precious moments of sharing, with loved ones, for the festive season. Chefs Christophe Moret and Samuel Lee, both Michelin-starred, and new Pastry Chef Maxence Barbot, invite guests to enjoy moments of gastronomic emotion on exceptional menus. Experienced mixologist Chef Barman Clément Emery offers a menu of signature cocktails with original recipes, in an intimate, hushed setting. With the new Chi-Kung massage, developed in collaboration with Chinese energy specialist Catherine Marin, Chi, Le Spa invites you to recharge your batteries, while the Christmas boutique is the perfect place to stroll… Let the festivities begin!
Festive menus in our La Bauhinia and L’Abeille** restaurants
Under the glass dome of La Bauhinia, a contemporary cuisine restaurant in the heart of the hotel, or in the cosy setting of L’Abeille**, a two-star Michelin restaurant, you’ll discover the culinary talents of Executive Chef Christophe Moret. At La Bauhinia, every evening from December 16 to 30, a delicious Festive Dinner will be offered to gently plunge you into the magic of Christmas, and enjoy, for example, a Filet of Mallard Duck rubbed with Peppers and Spices (menu €85 per person, drinks not included). For Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, gourmet dishes such as golden scallops with sweet potatoes and vanilla seeds, Turbot fillet with lightly creamed Tetragone and black truffle, or Alexandre Mazuir’s Poularde de Bresse with celery and celtuce palets and Albufera sauce are available for €168 per person on December 24, and €300 on December 31 (drinks not included).
A Festive Brunch will be served at La Bauhinia from December 1 to 29 at €128 per person, as well as two exceptional brunches on December 25 at €158 and January 1 at €168 per person.
For a cosy, comforting afternoon, discover Maxence Barbot’s festive Tea-Time, from December 1 to January 1 (€49 per person – €90 for two). At the l’Abeille** restaurant, in a warm and cosy setting, succumb to Christophe Moret’s eight-course New Year’s Eve menu. Highlights include Vanilla-flavored Lobster de nos Côtes, or a delicious truffled Brillat-Savarin (680€ excluding drinks – 980€ including drinks).
Shang Palace*
Another setting, another atmosphere… At Shang Palace, the only Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant in France, Hong Kong Chef Samuel Lee invites you to experience a change of scenery with two delicious menus, to be enjoyed on Christmas Eve (€238 per person, drinks not included) and New Year’s Eve (€350 per person, drinks not included), including the Gillardeau n°2 Oyster fried with Caviar or Peking Peking Duck in a crêpe…
Le Bar Botaniste
In a hushed, plant-filled setting reminiscent of an Empire-style apothecary’s cabinet, Clément Emery invites guests to discover a menu of surprising cocktails, blending rare ingredients and botanicals such as black cardamom, immortelle, melilot and vegetable oyster with singular spirits such as Clairin d’Haïti, Mezcal, Chartreuse and other exceptional botanical liqueurs. A nod to Prince Roland Bonaparte, former owner of the premises and a botanical enthusiast. To celebrate the New Year in style, Clément will be inviting guests on Tuesday December 31st from 11pm for a tasting to the rhythm of a DJ.
Berry Christmas x Baccarat Cocktail.
From December 5 to January 5, discover Berry Christmas, a cocktail made with raspberry and rosemary shrub, Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut Champagne and clove essence. Tasted in Baccarat glassware to complete the experience… (Cocktail costs €30).

In the exceptional setting of the historically listed Salons de Réception, to be privatized for a personal or professional event, and to experience an unforgettable moment thanks to the gastronomy of Chef Christophe Moret with dishes such as Saint-Jacques de nos Côtes marinées en fine gelée, or Langoustines de Summer Isle en tartare réhaussées de Caviar d’Aquitaine (Lunch: 190 € per person, Dinner: 250 € per person).
Chi, The Spa
This winter, Chi, Le Spa presents its new ChiKung massage by Chinese energy specialist Catherine Marin (ranked by the “Paris est à nous” Guide as one of the best Chi-Kung massages in Paris). An ancestral and rare technique from Traditional Chinese Medicine, it helps to circulate and rebalance vital energy in the meridians. This method of control, regulation and regeneration helps maintain health and serenity, and preserves the original Chi (60-minute treatment €230, 90-minute treatment €310).
The Christmas Boutique
This year, Baccarat takes up residence in the Christmas Boutique. The two Houses, symbols of prestige and French art de vivre, combine the excellence of their expertise to celebrate the magic of the festive season. This collaboration will showcase sublime pieces by the illustrious crystal makers, to be given as gifts or made as presents, in the intimate setting of the Boudoir. Irresistible treats such as chocolate truffles, crunchy pralines and delicious panettones will be on offer from December 4, 2019 to January 10, 2020… On Sundays December 15 and 22, a pastry-making workshop will be offered for children from 4:00 to 5:00 pm (places limited, reservation required), and Santa Claus will be present on Sunday December 22 for a unique meeting with the children…!
