On July 2, 2019, Tod’s once again demonstrates the excellence of its creativity by unveiling its latest Tod’s: Happy Moments project, in exclusive collaboration with Alber Elbaz, one of the world’s most talented and acclaimed designers, at an exceptional evening gathering the biggest names in Fashion, Film, Music and the Arts, in Paris. The collection, entitled Tod’s: Happy Moments by Alber Elbaz is also presented in a selection of iconic Tod’s boutiques in various international capitals.
Today, Tod’s introduces a new chapter in this collaboration via an exclusive Tod’s: Happy Moments by Alber Elbaz Pop-Up at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, Paris. This 25m² experience takes place in the Mogador space of the famous Department Store until September 3, 2019 inclusive.
The different lines of this collaboration:
Tod’s: Happy Birthday revisiting the famous Tod’s Gommino , in logotype suede leather and revealing an oversized canvas and leather tote bag;
Tod’s: Happy to be Free with its sporty crocodile-print leather loafers and its leather Shopping Bag inlaid with picots and embossed with a maxi Tod’s logo;
Tod’s: Happy to Dance with its reinterpretation of the Tod’s moccasin, transformed into an aerodynamic sneaker, mixing technical neoprene with a touch of brilliance with the famous Double-T buckle, all mounted on an ultra-light gum sole; are presented to the public in a space combining digital technology with walls of vitamin-rich LEDS, luminous messages circulating throughout the installation and cubes in luminescent pop colors.
For this pop-up, Tod’s and Alber Elbaz have created two exclusive colors for this sneaker moccasin, featuring acid orange and sparkling pink neoprene.
The idea of happiness is present throughout this collection: from the logo to the packaging, from the shoes to the bags.
