The young British designer’s first feminine creations in collaboration with the clothing brand derived from the eponymous Franco-Nippo-American cartoon, Rainbow Brite (“Blondine in Rainbow Country”), have been available since June, in the unmissable Parisian concept store.
Rainbow Brite presents until June 20, 2015 its Women’s Fall-Winter 2015 / 2016 pre-collection signed by Kit Neale, at Colette. It’s a set of exclusive pieces made up of skirts, coats, T-shirts and sweaters, in limited editions. For the occasion, the water bar and window of the famous concept store will be decorated in Rainbow Brite’s rainbow colors.
Until now, Kit Neale had never designed a garment for women. With Rainbow Brite, the up-and-coming British designer has created his first women’s collection, previewed for Colette. It was a real encounter between the designer’s universe, inspired by pop culture, the world of children, the use of woven fabrics and bright colors, and the clothing brand derived from the iconic 1980s cartoon character. The result: creations with a bright, youthful pop style.
