The recent opening of a Diesel boutique in London inspired Andreas Melbostad to present his Diesel Black Gold winter collection in Milan. On the catwalk, all the “British” codes were present: tartan, a touch of punk and a sartorial spirit. Slim-fit pants were mostly worn and torn, while jackets and tops were embroidered with crests, studded and adorned with chains. Leather, another essential element of the label’s DNA, is present in the form of jackets and perfectos. Particular attention is paid to materials and textures, for even greater comfort and luxury, such as the shearling linings of certain parkas. A mix & match that makes this men’s wardrobe wearable and perfectly in tune with the label’s young clientele.
