– Secrets d’Ivoire, The art of the Lega of Central Africa
Until January 26, 2014, you can discover the masterpieces of Lega art, one of the most important artistic traditions of Central Africa, which were preserved for the most part in the Jay T. Last collection at the Fowler Museum in Los Angeles.
These objects represent success, continuity, learning and remembrance of the deceased, and were used in rituals combining music, dance and proverbs. This art transmitted to men and women values essential to their way of life, as well as moral, social and political values.
You can discover statuettes, masks, headdresses and jewelry in this exhibition, while learning about the history of this Central African people.
– Colombian Nocturnes, Contemporary Images
This exhibition presents the photographic work of four Colombian artists, each of whom has an important place in the show. The exhibition aims to shed specific light on four major artists on the Colombian scene, each of whom has built up a specific body of work using the relationship to the photographic image in the broadest sense.
The four photographers have all worked on the theme of civil war in their countries, and offer visitors their point of view and their art on the subject.

Photoquai’s residencies encourage young photographic talent to make a name for themselves. Photoquai helps non-European photographers to carry out their artistic projects in the country of their choice.
Until January 26, 2014, you can discover the work of prizewinners Sammy Bajoli, Cinthya Soto, Fiona Pardington, Joao Castilho and Hugo Aveta. Whether landscapes or objects, fashion or architecture, the photos show how these concepts accompany human beings on a day-to-day basis.
