Dior Horlogerie continues its vibrant tribute to the House of Dior and its infinite palette of colors with these ten new models, unique pieces numbered from 6 to 15, which continue the enchantment begun in 2010.
The watches in the Dior Pièce Unique collection happily combine the vocabulary of the House of Dior with the more horological vocabulary of oscillating weights, movements, calibers, dials and precious bracelets. Like an ode to ultra-femininity and color, they reveal their secret in subtle refinement. Equipped with a Zenith Manufacture Elite automatic movement housed in a gold case, adorned with an elaborate dial and a bezel set with baguettes, they reveal a precious and meticulous underside: a mother-of-pearl oscillating weight, inlaid and set, in harmony with the dial, and a pleated taffeta strap on which the “Christian Dior Paris” label has been discreetly hand-stitched.
Dior Pièce Unique n°6″ offers a cameo of vermilion and carmine reds highlighted with gray, for a shimmering moire effect. Carefully selected and adjusted ruby and spinel baguettes are edged with black Tahitian mother-of-pearl, engraved and hemmed with diamonds.
The elegant “Dior Pièce Unique n° 7” alternates the midnight blue of sapphires with the glacier blue of engraved mother-of-pearl hemmed with diamonds.
The dial of the “Dior Pièce Unique n°8”, like a corolla composed of six superimposed petals of white mother-of-pearl, finely cut and studded with diamonds, exudes a discreet, diaphanous charm, supported by the changing blue of its bezel set with baguettes in five different shades of aquamarine.
Dior Pièce Unique n°10″ deploys a pastel monochrome palette, where lilac amethyst baguettes, highlighted with diamonds and smoky quartz, respond to the pink mother-of-pearl and agate dial, creating an ensemble of powdery elegance.
Dior Pièce Unique n°11″ radiates green and yellow, in a swirl of jade and tsavorite garnets set with diamonds, sapphires and emeralds, echoing the bright yellow of a taffeta bracelet.
La “Dior Pièce Unique n°12” evokes the flamboyance of the color combinations dear to the Maison, with its turquoise dial set with concentric circles of white and yellow diamonds, and its bezel of baguette-cut pink sapphires, contrasting with the black of a taffeta or alligator strap.
Dior Pièce Unique n°13″ offers a harmony of warm, velvety blues and greens – that of sapphires and emeralds – illuminated by the white mother-of-pearl of the dial.
The “Dior Pièce Unique n°14” combines fire and ice, with its cognac mother-of-pearl dial studded with smoky quartz and diamonds, baguette-cut brown garnet bezel and pristine white taffeta bracelet.
Dior Pièce Unique n°15″ features a fresh, tender harmony of green, pale pink and white. The dial in white, pink and green mother-of-pearl marquetry draws a vaporous floral motif, highlighted here and there by pink sapphires and surrounded by a corolla of chromium tourmalines.
