A few days ago, I discovered a wonderful initiative: PolyglotParty.
Launched 2 months ago, the social network for language exchange PolyglotParty.com now boasts a thousand members. In order to expand internationally, PolyglotParty now enables its members to organize events in their own city and meet other polyglots.
Thanks to the contribution of our members, who can organize their own events via PolyglotParty, parties that were previously held only in Paris can now be held all over the world.
An interface has been designed so that the community can share all its good ideas for going out:
– One to One: Face-to-face exchange with a partner of a different mother tongue over a cup of coffee.
– Be My Guest: Host a cosmopolitan dinner party at home, or provide weekend accommodation for a broke traveler.
– Cultural Event : Attend exhibitions, films, plays or concerts, and share your views in the original!
– Babel Bar: Meet people in a bar over a beer or cocktail. No need to build a tower to become a polyglot.
– Outdoor Event: Idyllic weather, a picnic, a game of soccer, pétanque or paintball. Crazy ideas are welcome.
– Polyglot Club: Let off steam on the dance-floor and learn Spanish while dancing the salsa.
– Polyglot Trotters: Find a traveling companion and set off on an adventure for a weekend, a week or a year, Polyglot trotter is the ideal solution!
