Setting course for the new Polpo
A foretaste of summer blows across the quays of the Seine with the reopening of Polpo, the famous barge located in Levallois-Perret. The iconic marine brasserie, open since 2016, offers a vacation atmosphere at the gateway to Paris with a sandy beach, a fleet of electric boats, generous oyster platters, cocktails and well-chosen wines.
Polpo’s aim is to bring families, colleagues and friends together for moments of sharing to the rhythm of the sun’s rays. Chef Yann Lesueur has created a seasonal seaside menu, with ultra-gourmet dishes such as crispy prawns and grilled fish. Drinks are also in the spotlight, with colorful cocktails and a wine list featuring nuggets, kombucha and artisanal fruit juices.
The decor has been redesigned by studio Adjamée, blending the codes of the bistro and the spirit of southern countries, to recreate the atmosphere of a villa on the coast. Polpo also offers a sandy beach with colorful deckchairs and electric boats for trips on the Seine, thanks to an association with Marin d’Eau Douce.
Polpo is open Monday to Thursday from 12:00 to 14:30 and from 19:00 to 22:30, Friday from 12:00 to 14:30 and from 19:00 to 23:00, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 19:00 to 23:00. The beach is open Wednesday to Sunday from 3 pm to midnight, and electric boat hire starts at €45 for one hour.
