NEW STYLING FOR THE RENAULT CLIO

Renault has announced the launch of the New Clio, which introduces a new, even more assertive and elegant style, as well as a chic and refined interior. Since its launch in 1990, the Renault Clio has been one of the most iconic city cars on the market, selling nearly 16 million units worldwide. New Clio reinvents itself and becomes a true illustration of the “New Renault Wave”, always carrying its innovations.

The car’s new front end combines technical sophistication and dynamism, its light signature has been totally redesigned and is a distinctive feature, and its taut, precise and effective lines give the New Clio a more pronounced character, at once statutory, vibrant and emotional. New Clio is also up to date in terms of technology, with a digital dashboard for all versions.

In terms of powertrains, the New Clio offers the most comprehensive range in its class on the market, with the E-Tech full hybrid 145 hp engine as its main attraction, combining driving pleasure with economy. This technology is ideal for customers renewing their diesel vehicle. The car emits from 93 grams of CO2 per kilometer and consumes 4.1 liters / 100 km according to the WLTP standard.

The New Clio will be offered in a range of finishes, including the new Esprit Alpine finish. The latter is distinguished by a sporty, technical and elegant look, adding even more intensity to the character of a vehicle that is now fully in line with Renaulution.

Renault Design Director Gilles Vidal said: “There’s a real love affair with the Clio, in France and around the world. So we wanted to celebrate the fundamental values of this icon, while transforming it. We kept in mind the need for homogeneity and the idea of projecting it into the future, with a design that is still human and now more technological. New Clio is the successful marriage of generous shapes and sculpted volumes with sharp lines and graphics.”
