DIOR BY PHILIPPE STARCK

Dior Maison and Philippe Starck recently presented their latest creation, the Monsieur Dior armchair, at the Salone del Mobile 2023 event in Milan. This exceptional piece is a tribute to the emblematic figure of couturier Christian Dior.

French designer Philippe Starck has created the Monsieur Dior armchair in collaboration with Dior Maison, using a blend of traditional craftsmanship and advanced technology. The armchair is available in a range of materials and colors, including polished or lacquered aluminum, ecru bouclé fabric and pink, black or fluorescent orange toile de Jouy.

In addition to the Monsieur Dior armchair, the furniture collection created by Philippe Starck for Dior Maison includes tables, chairs, sofas, shelves, lamps and accessories. This collection is the most complete ever created for the Maison, and is the fruit of an exclusive dialogue between the two brands.

The exhibition was held from April 18 to 23, 2023 at Palazzo Citterio in Milan, where visitors could admire Philippe Starck’s creations for Dior Maison. This collaboration between Dior and the internationally renowned French designer is a tribute to the history of the fashion house and its founder, Christian Dior.

The Monsieur Dior armchair and Philippe Starck’s furniture collection attracted a great deal of interest at Salone del Mobile 2023. This presentation of exceptional pieces enabled design and fashion enthusiasts to discover the perfect alliance between the timeless elegance of Dior and the innovative savoir-faire of Philippe Starck. These pieces will remain timeless collectors’ items for years to come.
