LOVE AND BE LOVED
This season, it’s a love story that Georges Chakra unfolds, with
happy ending of course, but not only: happiness is there on every line,
blows of ardor and profiles embraced by all the nuances of the most
refined optimism. And the most contemporary too: pastel pleasures, stripped cuts and
weightless materials together spin the perfect glamour, that of a freely playful modernity
.
A l’amour
Whether they give wings, desire or momentum, the effects of sleeves and the play of
legs create surprises and contrasts: a flight of short dresses and
naughty at the front, long and more docile at the back… Beautiful escapes of flounces
on one side, skin worn bare on the other…. Fluid chiffon
caressing on top, corseted volume underneath… Here, cigarette pants
are embraced by a traine, further on, a biais batifole, while a pure
T-shirt embraces sequined tulle…. Everywhere, seduction is worn at the end of
arms, necklines and armholes attached to attract, and attract attention.
A la légère
Accolades of ruffles without counting, flirtation of feathers galore, rain of petals,
dewy sequins, airy pleats…. Femininity is unencumbered by falseness
semblant, determined to play with the most sensual of transparencies, hide-and-seek
bewitching more radiant than romantic: tulle, chiffon, organza… pact
with well-being, lightness of heart, body, volumes and spirit,
reviving here the realism of an allure that loves itself in joyful movements… and
sows smiles wherever it goes.
In the sunlight
Pastels of choice, graphic blacks and whites or luminous lamés, the
nuances depict an atmosphere of chic and charm, sensations of
freshness and arty charisma tinged with tie-dye effects, fades and washes… but
also precious brushstrokes by hand, watercolor compositions
of sumptuous virtuosity along feathers, sequins and fabrics. Brilliant
libertinages, finally, the couturier proclaims in Swarovski crystal letters
embroidered on white: Love and be loved….
At the altar
A declaration of audacity, the wedding gown runs full speed ahead,
revealing a pretty frivolity along the way, an asymmetrical millefeuille of flowers and
flounces, waves of exhilarating energy surrounded by bridesmaids with a resolutely springtime aura
.
