“Une joue qu’on a envie d’embrasser” (A cheek you want to kiss) was how Annick Goutal described Petite Chérie. The house’s signature fragrance seems to echo the philosophy of another designer, Claudie Pierlot, and her idea of femininity as “a young woman guided by insouciance and gaiety” . A singular Parisian allure that likes to bend classic codes, like a seemingly wise dress that reveals a bare back embroidered with pearls, or a floral perfume with a herbaceous twist. As if on cue, the two Houses now join forces for a short-lived collection to tell the story of Petite Chérie.

The two Houses also share the same convictions, and are reaffirming their vision of a world that is freer because it is better educated, by supporting the association La Chaîne de l’Espoir, which works for the education of children. For over 25 years, La Chaîne de l’Espoir has been active in Togo, Benin, Nepal, India, Thailand and Haiti, giving the most vulnerable children the chance to go to school or access vocational training. Every year, La Chaîne de l’Espoir’s education programs enable 11,000 children to go back to school, with their school fees paid, material support, food aid and medical care. For every Petite Chérie marinière or Petite Chérie Eau de Parfum 100ml sold, 50% of the profits will be donated to La Chaîne de l’Espoir for education.
