Drouant par Antoine Westermann
The venue for the Prix Goncourt jury, Drouant is a Parisian institution. The restaurant also boasts a charming terrace. A great summer address.
With its wide, shady terrace, lush with bamboo planted in large flower pots, Drouant is a little paradise. The ideal summer spot. In addition to this enviable location, the à la carte dishes are perfect. A lunchtime menu is available for €45: very good value for money for this kind of establishment. So what kind of dishes are on offer? Sea bream tartare, for example. Fresh and subtle.
For the main course, fillet of Saint-Pierre with garden tomatoes is a great option.
For dessert, the red fruit salad with its hint of mint is delicious, unless you’re tempted by the house’s very good rum baba. Service is precise and relaxed.
The Drouant restaurant, as Antoine Westermann wanted it, is a brasserie of its time, with a menu that gives customers the freedom to come in different states of appetite. A timeless place where everyone can meet for a dish of the day, a cocktail, a glass of wine, brunch or dinner. In short, we can only warmly recommend this fine Parisian address.
