The ultra-creative Franco-Japanese fashion house joins forces with automotive giant Mercedes-Benz for a collection of connected fashion accessories, a tribute to the German firm’s new convertible range.
Maison Kitsuné, no stranger to collaboration, is now tackling the world of automobiles. Fashion and cars have always gone hand in hand, and Mercedes is no stranger to major fashion events. On this occasion, it’s not a question of customizing a car, but of creating an innovative collection of limited-edition connected accessories. A small revolution, the “Found” capsule collection consists of scarves and hats, all fitted with a small chip directly linked to a mobile application capable of indicating their position. A nice nod to accessories that let themselves be carried away by the wind during an open-air car ride. It’s a bold idea and a poetic tribute. There’ll be no more excuses in the event of loss.
A smart, graphic collection available from July 12, 2016 in the Maison Kitsuné boutique at 18 Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire in Paris.
